If you are the parent or guardian of a girl in the Groton area entering kindergarten and up, please consider joining Girl Scouts. There is a troop perfect for your daughter’s age:
• Daisies: Kindergarten & 1st Grade
• Brownies: 2nd & 3rd Grade
• Juniors: 4th & 5th Grade
• Cadettes: 6th, 7th, & 8th Grade
• Senior: 9th & 10th Grade
• Ambassador: 11th & 12th Grade

Meeting & Trips
Troop meetings will be held at the discretion of troop leaders. All meetings will be planned in advance. On average, most troops meet every 2 weeks.
Groton Girl Scout Troops may host monthly trips (for example to Water Works in Cortland to feed the ducks or a visit to the SPCA to learn about pet care). Our service unit (which also includes the Dryden, McLean area), hosts monthly service unit activities/trips.
Fundraising Events
Twice a year, Groton Girl Scouts participate in two Girl Scout led fundraising events.
